More details regarding this second clinic will be posted in the near future. We encourage you to reach out to your child’s physician to discuss vaccination if you have further questions. Principal's Message: (New!) Dear Families, The first part of the 2021/22 year has gone by quickly, and it has been an exciting, yet still anxiously unpredictable, time. Students have acclimated to new learning environments and are well on their way in mastering grade level content. Information from Nurse Hervey: (New!) Vaccination Update (5-11 Year Olds) ** The COVID-19 vaccine is now approved for 5-11 year olds. SAS is pleased to host our first vaccination clinic at Heritage School for 5-11 year olds ONLY on November 16th. We are working with the MDHHS vendor (LTS) to offer this vaccination clinic from 4-8 PM in the Heritage School Cafeteria. This is a walk-in clinic so you do not need to make an appointment. The parent consent form and additional paperwork will be available at the site and is not available ahead of time online. In addition, SAS will host a second vaccination clinic on December 7th that will allow both students and adults to be vaccinated. More details regarding this second clinic will be posted in the near future. We encourage you to reach out to your child’s physician to discuss vaccination if you have further questions. Principal's Message: (New!) Dear Families, This past week, our Heritage Student Credit Union was up and running for the first time since March of 2020! We also welcomed back Karen Baker and her therapy dog, Gracie Maize, to read with students. These are two activities that will continue weekly throughout the school year. It feels wonderful to get back to our community partnerships! Thank you to our families- Your support during [what continues to be] challenging times is much appreciated. The communication with teachers, volunteerism and family support of our school programming does not go unnoticed! We are grateful for our Heritage families and community.
