,Principal's Message (New!) Dear Families, Welcome to (almost) DECEMBER. I hope you were able to enjoy some time with family and to sneak in some relaxation in the last several days. This week, on December 1st, report cards will be sent via email. In addition, you will be able to access your student's NWEA scores on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please reach out to your classroom teacher if you do not have login information for PowerSchool. HERE is a job aid to help you access those scores. Thank you to those that visited our Heritage Virtual Book Fair. And to our PTO/Amy Leighton for organizing it. Have a wonderful week ahead! In Partnership, Megan DeGrand Heritage Principal Lunch with Mrs. Deneen (NEW!) Hello Heritage families! It's Mrs. Deneen here with a chance to connect with your students while we are in virtual learning. I typically spend time with students during lunch and thought I would continue to do so while we are learning from home. Your student can join me for an optional lunch get-together from 12pm - 12:30pm on 12/1, 12/3, 12/8, and 12/10 using the Zoom link below. Join Zoom Meeting: https://salineschools-org.zoom.us/j/91004094146?pwd=Y3NadHR4SEViMlptZmIyT1pQMUhSZz09 Meeting ID: 910 0409 4146 Passcode: 643913 I envision this being an opportunity for students to stay connected and potentially meet others outside of their classroom. Mrs. DeGrand may pop in, too! I hope to see your students next week! Musetta Deneen Local Food Pantry/Meal Distribution (NEW!) Trimester 2 Survey (NEW!) November 5th, 2020 Dear Saline Families, Today is the launch of our Second Trimester Transition Survey to gather feedback about your family’s school/instructional model preference and transportation needs. It will be open through Sunday, November 8. This year, the Second Trimester runs from Monday, November 30th, 2020 through Friday, March 12th, 2021. You should have received a personal invitation and survey link, via email, from our independent research partner, K12 Insight. The survey is compatible with any computer, tablet, or smartphone. It is available in English or Spanish. We would like for you to take the survey once for each student you have enrolled in Saline Area Schools during the 2020-2021 school year so we can better understand the needs at each school. The survey includes the student's name for the purposes of trying to match your instructional model preferences. However, this information will not be shared with the general public. It will be shared with our administrative team to determine staffing models to support families and their options. If your survey link is not working, you did not receive a survey invitation, or you are missing a link for one of your students, please click here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17GcabNvTLhUhbGjd6IBYVkwe7C2JTf-fbXPZN12gTmo/edit?usp=sharing Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Saline Area Schools.
